Duties of Members

The enrolled members will perform the following duties :-

1. To recognize and comply with the rules and regulations of the Society and pay their subscription fees regularly.
2. To adhere and disseminate the Fundamental Principals of the Movement, The International Humanitarian Law and the protection of the Red Cross emblem.
3. To promote and participate actively in the activities of the Indian Red Cross Society at the District/Sub-Divisional level including the promotion of membership, to generate funds.
4. To generate donations/financial resources of Red Cross Society.

Rights of Members :-

1. To vote in the meetings as per rules.
2. They have the right to elect and to be elected at the district level.
3. To participate in various Red Cross programme / campaigns / activities and undertake voluntary services from time to time.
4. The life members / patrons will get subsidized services in various activities as per the decision of the executive body of the District Red Cross Society Dharamshala.
